The Monterey is a perfect choice for homeowners looking for an elegant and efficient electric panel heater. Its natural white colour, gentle curvature and louvered top grille allows this heater to fit seamlessly into any room.
It features CapSense controls and offers a highly intuitive user interface that allows for complete control over the temperature of your room for maximum comfort. The seven-day timer profiles enable your heating requirements to be pre-set with a seven day programme and different user profiles, such as 'Away' mode, that can be used as required. The LCD display and six touch-sensitive buttons enable easy usability and also have an optional sound when pressed, for greater accessibility.
The temperature display is also colour-coded to assist the visually impaired. Adaptive Start is the Monterey's intelligent self-learning, delayed-start function. This assesses the thermal characteristics of the room and then determines how long the appliance needs to operate for to reach the target temperature.
By measuring the heat-up and cool-down rates of the room, and how this varies with external factors, the heater works out what time it needs to start heating to reach the user-defined target temperature at the specified time. This minimises wasted energy and can deliver significant cost savings. Should a window or door be left open accidentally, the Monterey will detect a sudden change in temperature and postpone heating.
Once the window or door has been closed, the heater will resume normal operation. This technology ensures that the output from the heater is reduced when heat is escaping from a room, avoiding wastage and saving you money. The robust steel casing ensures the heater is splash-proof, enabling use in bathrooms. For the first time, Monterey can now be remotely controlled via the internet using the Dimplex Control smartphone app*. With Dimplex Control, you have command of your supported Dimplex products, anytime, anywhere.
Configure and operate your heaters or hot water cylinders, individually or by zone, and easily track the energy usage of each. * Requires additional hardware, sold separately. A Dimplex Hub and RFM (Radio Frequency Module) device are required for this product to connect to the Dimplex Control system and be controlled via the Dimplex Control smartphone app.

What doesn’t our warranty cover?
In any instance where your bulb has developed a fault, we will do our utmost to replace it or offer a full refund (provided the item is still within its stated warranty period). However, if it becomes apparent that the product has been misused, tampered with or modified in any way, we will view this as having voided its warranty.
‘Misuse” includes, but is not limited to, incorrect operation by the user, use of non-dimmable bulbs on a dimmable circuit or connection to or operation with an unsuitable power supply. ‘Tampering’ or ‘modification’ can be interpreted as any activity designed to alter the product in such a way that it can be used in a manner that wasn’t intended by its original design. This can include rewiring, removing plugs, home repairs or changing components. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to replace any item that has undergone any such process.
